•Surfing
We will explore multiple surf spots throughout the area where we will provide lessons and guidance for all levels. If you are a fast learner or already know how to surf, boards will be available for you to surf whenever you would like.
•Thermal Hot Springs
This trip will take you up into the mountains to the base of Mt. Chirripo (Costa Rica’s tallest mountain). We will make multiple stops along the way to enjoy the diverse countryside. Upon arrival we will spend some time relaxing in the Thermal Hot Springs. What a great way to ease those sore horseback riding muscles.
•Horseback
A must have experience! All horseback trips are booked through reputable local stables. These multiple hour journeys bring you into the heart of magnificent primary rain forest.
•White Water Rafting/Kayaking
It’s up to you. A high energy white water ride or go with the flow in a kayak on a mellow river paddle. Between the nearby Saverge and Naranjo rivers we’ve got you covered. We work with local and knowledgeable outfitters to assure a fun and safe river experience.
•Volunteer Activity
Routed believes that a successful trip to a less privileged country does not come full circle unless we do our part in making a difference. We work directly with Land Managers, Conservationist, and Relief Organizers to create an activity that not only teaches us about these ongoing needs, but also has a maximum positive impact on the community.
•Tropical Forest Trip
We will be staying very near to Hacienda Baru National Wildlife Refuge, Marino Ballena and Los Quetzales National Park. These Parks offers spectacular views and endless amounts of wildlife. This is where you can really get up close and personal with the monkeys. The best time to walk the park is early morning as the animals are more active. We will also snorkel the waters at the parks edges.
•Afternoon Boat Excursion
We will spend the afternoon snorkeling, dolphin and whale watching and the evening sipping cocktails as the sun sets over the Pacific. (SCUBA available if certified)
